P&O Iona 1 Week Onboard!

This is as epic as my vlogs come (aka very very long 😂). Here’s our complete experience of P&O Iona and a whole week onboard sailing Northern Europe during P&O’s busiest EVER sailing on one of their ships and with 900 children onboard! Did these huge numbers of passengers spoil the experience? Were there enough crew to manage? Love the look of Iona. Think this will have to be my first cruise with my boyfriend. He would definitely have to stop me going ott at the shops on board and if he disappeared on board I know where he'll be like Matthew. I would definitely goto the top of the tower in Rotterdam, absolutely love heights having been to the top of the Shard in London and the London eye and also the I360 in Brighton. Definitely want to get back to Amsterdam as was meant to do it for my 40th birthday back in 2020 but the certain C happened. But hopefully soon as want to go back on the splashtours (the amphibious bus that can go from the road into the river) Think if I remember from online Rotterdam has one too. I’m only 11 minutes into your vlog and you have already had to wait for a drink more than a half hour twice! Everywhere on that ship is SO crowded. I’ve never been on a cruise and I’m thinking of booking my first. A ship like this though, although it seems there is everything you would like, you have to wait so long, I feel sure I would hate it!!!

I went on Iona to do that cruise in Oct 21 when the restrictions were still on and we didn’t get to Hamburg. I’m going to Hamburg on Qv in April. 🤞 The same excursions are available on Cunard, so funny to see. Love Rotterdam. I’ve never been to Blankenburg. If you’re not a big drinker then no. Drinks onboard are reasonably priced. Room service dishes come with individual prices, although not much.

We did iona sept 22 to norway, you really had to get a waiters attention to place an order. However 100% customers to 70% crew, not good!

Gutted that they’re changing the amount of alcohol you can take on board 😭 me and my partner are going on our first cruise this year due to my mum and dad saying how amazing their cruise was but now we can’t take our own alcohol on unless it wine or beer 😢 5:17
