I started to stop practicing parkour because I would always practice in one spot, even though I had a whole city at my disposal. After seeing this video I realized that I forgot one of the fundamental reasons for my practicing of parkour - the fact that with it I could go anywhere I wanted to - as well to use it as an escape from the streets and alleys that today's society has funneled people into. Thank you for posting this video and reminding me of the purpose of parkour.

really good video :) people who dont do freerunning and even some that do wont notice half of the tech used to do this mission. Taking yet another hat off to you phil. Great upload and an impressive run. Really liked the ending how the two people walking off will never know what phil had just achieved. Parkour is great exercise for experts. It takes a fair amount of strength to do much of what he was able to accomplish. Parkour is risky by nature, but the feeling you get makes it worthwhile. I'm certain he checked the weather and prepared for this, I can guarantee he wouldn't do something like this on a windy day. This had a fair bit of planning go into it.

There are better free runners. But this is the first time I've watched a free running video of someone actually using it to get from A to B. Keep doing what you do cos when someone sees some guy sprinting atop buildings they're gonna be like "Wow, that guys a badass"

finally a REAL free running video. not any of the lame flipping and acrobatic crap that people claim it to be. when i was introduced to this sport it was all about gettin from one place to the next the fastest possible way. doing a backflip off of a 3' high ledge while running off it is impressive, but not free running. in no way does that speed you up or get you somewhere faster. TL;DR: thanks for posting a real free-running video (just wish i coulda actually seen you in action, not POV)

Glad you liked it, sorry it took a while, I spent a good ten hours shopping for those letters. I could have gotten them sooner but Sesame Street ran out of vowels since they're going through a rough time because of Romney. So I had to find them at other location. Finally got a few off of craigslist which was a rip off! The guy that sold me the "e"s was this huge feathery yellow fellow wearing sunglasses and a hat.
