Thirty years ago you could go in the pools whenever you wanted. 😉 We spent weeks exploring the Hana coast and I don't recall ever paying an entrance fee, or even seeing a park ranger. But from watching your video I can seen the natural beauty remains unchanged.

My husband proposed to me under Waimoku Falls. Take lots of water. It's an amazing but surprisingly thirst-invoking hike.

Route 37 to Pipiwie trail was closed on June 18, 2023. Google maps routes you thru this way be say the entrance is closed off! The sign about 17 miles to the trail head was too small and the Road too narrohet treacherous and bumpy to look at it on the side. They should really close off the road and say local access only. They said it has been closed for 2 months due to falling rocks and construction but no locals ever told us it was closed on the past few days we chatted with them about going there. There was only mention of it being dangerous but that’s about it. Many people were confused and disappointed having to turn around after a very hard and long drive. Dont waste 5 hours to drive here and back and use the route 36 from north west to Hana

Aloha - I believe the swimming issue is based on water levels and if bacteria is present... when water is high, bacteria tends to be low and hence they allow ppl to swim :-)

Hello! Awesome info and beautiful footage. Thank you for posting this. I planned to go here when I’m there in a month with my daughter. But I keep reading it’s shut down now. I see you were just there as recent as 4 months. So does this mean those posts are incorrect? Thank you.

Do you consider it as an hard hike ?
@Active_Tours2 жыл бұрын
I personally consider this a moderate hike. But I enjoy hiking mountains 🏔 If you’re not a frequent hiker or get zapped by humidity this is a strenuous hike. Enjoy 🤙

Hello??? It is Ohe'o Gulch, NOT Oh- hee- o. Oh dear, you are butchering these names. These names can be looked up and then pronounced correctly. Just to be present and respectful. Yes, "seemingly forever....". Sad. Why not take the time?
