In your Monterey tour, go north a bit to Moss Landing and The Whole Enchilada for a meal. Grew up riding horses on those beaches.

You missed the falls at Limekiln Creek. Lived there 68/69. Magical!

I worked for Mammoth Mountain 1980-83. One of the best three years of my life. I wish I had never come back to the flatlands.

Great video! I also subscribedto your channel. Question, was the trail extremely tough to the falls or just to lundy lake?

Hey Josh I’m a local the art biennale is march 22 23 and 24 you don’t want to miss it. It’s already changed so much since this video. I’m camping that week by diva station! Take care Trinket(the cat lady)

We were at Ragged Point a few years ago. Video's and narratives fail to capture the wonderful aroma of the place. The scent of the humid salt air and especially the aroma of pine needles and pine trees is equal to the visual beauty of Ragged Point as well as many other places.

Don't call this a hike. It is climbing with real risk of death. I live close to it (I see my roof in this video), and strongly advise people to keep off it. Not worth the risk, people.

if you rent all 3 cabins, 1 per day, you stay in the crater for 3 nights and hike all around there.(if they still rent the cabins) The story of Maui was that he caught the sun and pulled it closer so that the days would be shorter, i think.

It is very bad luck to take lava rock away from the islands. My aunt and uncle own the Gazebo restaurant in Napili and people are constantly mailing lava rock to be returned with horror stories of bad luck

Don't turn your back to the ocean or blow holes when at the edge for selfies or whatnot. Safety first

Mahalo for a lovely video! My wife and I visited here in 2013. We've lived full time on Molokai since March 2019. Nicest people I've ever known. Molokai No Ka Oi! Andy McKane, Maunaloa, Molokai.

If you want to go high. Cottonwood Lake 10200 feet at parking lot. Onion Valley 9200. 100 miles out White Mountain 12800 at gate.

If you do Lone Pine Lake go past it up to ridge overlooking outpost camp. Go along ridge to left. It overlooks camp and is epic view of whole trail.
