p.s I found the character Daniel in hindsight to be a bit of a jerk at times through the film. I just felt in editing like he wasn't really being as sensitive to her feelings as he could have been throughout the film. Anyway, ENJOY!

As a lot of comments have previously mentioned, no one ever reacts to this movie and it is so underrated!! The moment Holly runs into her mums pub and breaks down always gets me, there are so many moments in this movie that make me ugly cry but I still love it 😂

The hell with the critics! This movie is so underrated. They don't understand this is an individual's journey through grief and her deceased love one helping her along the way to move on. This film is sweet, funny and heartbreaking especially for those who have dealt with loss❤

Oi, Kiwi here. Thank you so much for doing this movie. NO ONE EVER REACTS TO IT. I remember really liking it when it came out. I made the mistake of showing it to my aunt only 2 years after her husband had passed, so she was mixed emotions, but I THINK she liked it.

Critics did not get this movie and destroyed it in reviews but this movie is as beautiful and wholesome as it can get , imagine losing someone so dear and he not only pick up the pieces of your broken heart but he helps you heal and find yourself again, the self you've forgotten whilst you were with him and he knew it all along. P.S. If you haven't seen Ghost, watch it!❤

I would have never thought I would be in a similar situation as Hillary's character(I saw it years ago, loved the movie), but it happened to me a little over a year ago, I'm also in my 30's. I think the movie shares many moments that ring true to the experience. I think what a lot of people don't realize who haven't been through it, is that it's absolutely alright and normal to feel "stuck" for awhile, even potentially into years, and that's just part of the grief and healing process. Your loved ones often never understand, try as they may(or they might be a**holes and not even try). It can be very isolating to be young and widowed. When you're in this situation though your survival instincts do eventually kick in, that's kind of why it's so annoying to have people around you vocalizing their wishes for you about how they think you should be getting better. The truth is, you'll never be the same again, and it can take awhile to come back to a baseline daily life that feels secure again. I'm an artist and that's helped immensely though. I channel my emotions through creating, like Holly :) Still trying my best, a lot of days are hard, but I'm much better than initially. Your commentary was spot on! Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, your empathy made it easier for me to watch the movie. I had wanted to watch it again but was super scared to, for obvious reasons ❤

THIS MOVIE is my absolute go to when I am feeling sad but want to feel better, especially over a breakup. It's so sad, and funny, and has moments of hopelessness and also hopefulness, it's just perfect. And it ending with the possibility of finding new love, but that's not the end all be all, is such a good message. Also, anything with Lisa Kudrow is a banger, and I love quoting her from this movie a lot. Also Gerard Butler is one of my celebrity crushes, especially when he can use his accent, and Ireland is the place I want to visit the most. The movie has some dated jokes and references, but overall it's absolutely solid

This is one of my all time favourite movies (seen over 100 times), and ive never seen anyone react to watching it. *SPOILER* Friends and family who have watched it with me, or just read the description get put off by Gerry dying early on, and think its just going to be a miserable film. I'm so glad that you just GET it; the cathartic healing, the humor, and love that makes this film so enjoyable. Cant wait to see other films youve reacted to!
