Kerala Parippu Curry Recipe / Kerala Style Dal Curry is an inevitable part of Onam Sadya. Here we share a simple and easy Parippu curry especially for bachelors and busy people. You can prepare this dal curry within few minutes with minimal ingredients. The classic combination of rice, parippu curry with ghee sprinkled over, along with pappad makes a perfect lunch
INGREDIENTS
Toor dal (തുവരപ്പരിപ്പ് ) - 1 cup
Shallots (ചെറിയ ഉള്ളി )- 10 + 4 Nos
ടൊമാറ്റോ ( തക്കാളി )- 1 (S)
Green chilli (പച്ചമുളക് )-2 + 1 Nos
Curry leaves(കറിവേപ്പില )
Turmeric powder( മഞ്ഞൾപൊടി )-1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder (മുളക് പൊടി )- 1/2 tsp
Salt(ഉപ്പ് )
Water (വെള്ളം )- 3 Cup
Coconut oil(വെളിച്ചെണ്ണ )- 3 Tbsp
Mustard seeds(കടുക് )- 1/2 tsp
Garlic( വെളുത്തുള്ളി )- 4 cloves
Dry red chilli ( വറ്റൽ മുളക് )-2 Nos
