No, that was the problem. If your code came back, check ALL rubber vacuum hoses for cracks and security.

@ijfim dude, I checked the same hose today. It was completely broke off. PCV hose. Replaced it, car is running like a champ again. I have read where people have spent thousands on this issue. I went to Auto Zone today and picked me up a new hose for $8.99. Thanks Man!

Amazing cheap fix! That’s why I made this channel, I hate spending money when I don’t have to.

2011 corolla here and I just did my PCV valve and hose change. Car seems to idle better and have a smoother ride. The PCV hose was full of oil which I don’t think it should be soaked that much. Probably the valve was stuck open. Also the intake area was pretty dirty with soot and oil. Ckeaned that up with some throttle body cleaner and some shop towels, changed the intake manifold gasket since I had to remove the manifold to get to the PCV valve(yes it was a kind of a pain). A 8 dollar part that took probably 150 bucks of labor in a shop if I took it in. 🤦🏽♂️ Much Mahalo for all your informative content. People like you are a godsend to us who are “fix it ourselfers”. Aloha🙏🏼🤙🏼🫡✊🏼
