i don't know about sig Legion pricing but you can get this for under $700 which last I checked sig price was $1000 since sig is very active at stopping shops from selling cheaper than msrp.

I grabbed a factory gen3 g35 upper (used) with suppressor height sights (with tritium), machined for RMR, also came with 9mm conversion barrel and three mags.. and a few other random parts, extra trigger springs, etc. All for six hundr3d dollen.. It has turned out to be a pretty sweet deal. I put a 508T on it and a p80 lower.. So with this same long slide, I can shoot .40 and 9mm.. I've been pretty happy with it.

Please, first look at the P10F OR SR before you pull the trigger. Compare the stats closely. AND beware on both P10Fs the back strap texture is painfully pointy sharp. I've sanded mine down to grippy nubs, and I'm installing Combat Textiles grip fabric as I type this. Love the rough fabric texture on my Glocks 17L, 40, 25 .380 , CZ P-07 & P-09. My non covered perfect grip texture is my PDP Full 5". It's aggressive but subdued, not pointy sharp. Best of grip breed.

The P10F SR, although close, still does not shoot the same as the Competition Ready. It's the extra slide length and weight that changes the recoil pattern, not the barrel length. And the HBI trigger shoe is amazing. The regular P10f is fantastic, but don't under sell the competition ready.

I have my P10f up to about 2k so far. No issues. Only 1 match with it. I didn’t go with the comp. At the time it was about 400 higher and didn’t gain anything for it. I put it thru a class and had a few students running it also. I don’t know if it will ever be a full time match gun. It’s tough to leave the S2 at home.

So maybe your race results would be comparable with my P10F OR SR, 5.1" barrel, 2 - 21 rd mags ?. My grabAgunprice was just 478.oo vs 725.00 for the 10F Comp.with 19rd (5-2024) mags ? I love my G17L, more than the G34 that I sold after side by side taste testing. I realize the G17L 6.02" doesn't "fit the rules box" . I dont compete and to helll with stinking boxes. Meanwhile.... Your moving better than one year ago when you raced after a "family+ " layoff. I just hit Subscrib'd button so I can keep 👀 on you. Living retired & FREE here in rural New SigHampshire. For the price, the P10F Comp is not worth it to me. A standard P10F is awesome already and like you said, you can do a few mods to the standard F and come in way under the F COMP.

Except longer loadings that you'd typically load if you hand loaded competition ammo... Something that a lot of competitors would do. Hence, it needs noted. Factory loads are fine. But don't run conical projectiles or long loaded hand loads
