A fantastic tool for the purpose designed and a little creativity. Add the MCarbo kit and it goes to another level. .40 runs great.

Getting the MCarbo upgrade kits and the Red Lion rotating fore grip really take this gun to another level. However now youve turned a $400 carbine into an $800 carbine on par with the cost of the S&W but much much better. Oh, and don't forget the Missouri Tactical recoil pad.

What makes the Missouri butt pad better than the m carbo pad?

@@Jesco-pi9gr From an installation perspective you don't have to drill holes in your stock, it just slides on and kind of snaps in place. It's also softer where MCarbos is just a hard piece of rubber.

With the bar on the stock being straight and having plenty or room below it, that bar could be contoured to allow your face and cheek to get a better sight picture.... and it wouldn't really take anything from the gun at all (as far as I can tell). It don't seem like it would have to be lowered in the center there more than an inch or two.

No it can't because that it where the buffer system resides.

The gen 3 seems to solve most of the problems: better trigger and rotating forend

I got a sub2000 g17..last Feb.. it's very light weight..bucks like a mile..has to adjust the front site to the left almost maxed out..to get it on target..I compared it to my high point..3895ts..high point wins the accuracy..no shit..but the kel tec is fun and easy to shoot..a better defensive weapon..be safe..
