Hello Darren , I'm glad it has gone to Peter who will work his magic on it when its turn comes in the queue. I'm looking forward to videos on it in the future but it will be some time of yet . His welding skills and the fabrication on the panels he produces for his restorations are second to non. Glad you like the MGF and there will be a video to follow when I get some free time.

You know , the funny thing is it's last recorded owner came from Royton near Oldham and it's now gone to it's new owner in Ashton Under Lyne very close to Royton. Funny how things work out.

I knew the MGB would soon get snatched up - not a roadster or a V8, but people will still buy them, especially if they're complete and very restorable. I never knew much about the MGF, but it will be interesting to find out more! 👍🏻

Hi, yes I had a feeling it wouldn't hang around for long , but it went quicker than I expected , The MGF is a car I haven't had before so it will be interesting to see how it all goes.

If you need any bits for it check out mg and alfa spares in chadderton,Manchester they have everything also do repairs and head gaskets

Hi Shaun, great video,the blue MG has now gone,I will check out Peter's KZbin channel out,the car carrier don't look good, hope he can repair it,I do like the new car I will keep my eyes open for this on the channel.

Hello Steven , yes if you are interested in welding and fabrication Peters channel could be right up your street.The car carrier could be repaired but it would be hard to see were else it may have twisted so really it is a write of . Glad you like the new car I will do a video of the MGF at some point later on .

Has the head gasket been done as these go on them ?

It hasn't been done recently but we have the knowledge and the were with all to sort it if it does blow.

MGF's are a poor man's Elise. As you know the 1.8 K-Series likes to blow head gaskets. Hopefully this one has the revised one that allows better cooling and has stronger headbolts. That solved the issue.

Hello Micheal , it is a really sprightly car to drive and I didn't know they had a revised head for them , if it does blow the head gasket we can sort it out and will go with the better head.Thanks for letting me know.
