Hey man just coming here for an update. How have the headlights held up as well as the side mirror puddle lights in march 2024
@positivegarage7 ай бұрын
Held up great :) still work! Only thing I’d say is get resistor to avoid warning light on dash because led draw less power then stock lights.

Now lets see the video of how much other drivers are getting blinded. You need to put up a disclaimer - there's a reason halogen -> led conversions without replacing the housing with ones meant for leds have "No for street use/offroad use only" warning labels. The amount of light/luminescence of an led is much higher than a halogen bulb. The reflectors/housing of a halogen headlamp scatter light a because of the lower output and won't blind drivers. Replace that with an led bulb and you've got much brighter light being scattered. An led headlamp will focus the light much more and you won't have that happen.

I actually fully agree with this. Light dissipation is a fine art that is meticulous in culture. I fully respect what you are saying . I can make a video with these to prove they are not blinding to other drivers. I have had cars in the past where I’ve learned the hard lesson by getting flashed brights at me constantly. This setup however doesn’t do that. In fact I’m in the middle of some projector headlight projects with proper reflectors and bi-xenon’s for and oem+ upgrade with proper light dissipation. My LEDs in the volvo look almost stock and I will have to make a video about it in the future.

Hi! Great video! I"m going to do this after watching your video. Question though, I'm buying philips h7 led pro3022. But compared to yours, they don't have that extra part hanging of the bulb, the lite square thing. Does this mean I have to buy something extra? Thanks
@positivegarage Жыл бұрын
I don’t think you have to buy something extra, the light I got were designed with those. I think it’s because it’s led and draws less power it may be a transformer or something of the sort reducing the voltage in there. I’m not 100% sure but some people do buy anti canbus error boxes to attach to avoid the headlight code from using led. Hmu on instagram @nastyy.t5 if you need to chat!

You literally do not need to remove the headlight assemblies to replace the bulb. That is a huge waste of time

I literally said that 30 seconds into the video…… nice mate👍
