P2422 Honda EVAP Code

Check the FTP sensor. This can get clogged or fail and give code P2422.

Great vid - and UGH. Same results on valve tests. Vacuum test on charcoal canister shows no "leaks" and air flows freely through it...doesn't make sense code still exists.

We’re you able to find just the filter or was replacement of the canister needed? Did it fix the p2422 code? Was there any issue with the fuel tank pressure sensor? Thank you.

I couldn't find the filter, ended up replacing the whole canister. And yes it did fix the code.

If the fuel tank pressure sensor - connected to the charcoal filter has failed - could that also cause the 2422??

Just had these codes pop up on my wifes 2005 crv . The strange thing is the check engine light comes on for a few days and than goes off for a few days . Nothing seems to be loose any ideas .

Just follow what I am showing in this video. Since its going on and off I think it might a sticky solenoid.

Lines you can blow air through it, but solenoid I dont think you can clean it.@@glenmckelvey5952

@Waqas Azmat warning light is on and this code appears. No code on engine or transmission. When moving the vehicle the engine will lose power but light with still be on. Then the battery light will illuminate and the gas cup looking thing
