my p3d now works super great thanks to you the only problem Iam still having p3d is is not changing any flight time information in the pilots log book,I know I pun in over 200 hours and the flight time only indicates zero after each flight any known fix's.

Good to hear it works now great. Unfortunately I never use the log book inside the sim but use Volanta orbx freeware program to log all flights.

thank you for this vid!I But im experiencing something pretty ennoying, so my sim runs pretty smooth all the time, only when switching views (with chaseplane) for example from captain view to overhead panel i get those small ennoying stutters, my specs are almost the same (rtx2070 super, i7 10700K, 32Gb ram). You experienced something like this? or you have a fix? (im using acadamic version)

Hi there. Interesting video. Just a quick question. Do you use a 4K monitor? I’ve heared that HDR won’t work optimized if you have a lower monitor than 4K.

Hi, Thank you. No i use 1440P. HDR works okay for me but i have it disabled in the cockpit for the pmdg airplanes. I think HDR does not look good in the cockpit but looks only goods on the outsides.

thanks to you my p3dv5.1 looks great my vram uses is 4.0 and fps is 32 at YSSY PHNL JFK LFLL I copied all of your setting and flight simming is fun again I have the same cpu and programs as you but my gpu is a RTX 3060 12 gb . which program do I load first active sky or REX Sky force

Happy to hear it worked out. I use Rex only for cloud and sky textures so I don’t load it at all. I use active sky for my weather so I only load that one up

great show which active sky are you using the new beta? also how is your QW 787 working with p3d 5.2 I have p3d 5.1 and my QW 787-10 and my landing lights can not be seen at night time from in side the plain thank you for all your help you have giving me.

Hi make, thank you. In this video I used the latest active sky beta build indeed. In works fine. For the 787. Do you have dynamic lighting enabled? If you don’t have it then I won’t see any light, other then that try to reinstall the plane. This mostly works out. Also delete trueglass in the process.

Not a huge in performance but more in loading time. P3d is old and needs to load in a huge amount of files. With a ssd that is going faster so it will safe a bit of performance. When I had a hdd I had for instance a lag spike on landing due to the ground sounds which needed to be loaded in. With an ssd the problem was solved

Jep. Internal limiting fps cause a lot of performance. But set the fps unlimited internally but lock it via NCP that makes the sim run smoother

"35 FPS in each situation" , I can believe it only when I will see a video in final KJFK approach, with FSDT addon, orbx and fsglobal, TRAFFIC AIG at 50% and traffic cars at 15%. Then it's a true benchmark. High end Rig here, and i'm lucky if i get 18/20 fps with such situation there...
