P8 Derbyshire Cave (A Very Wet Cave!)

Hi guys great video,I used to love P8 but not for my first ever caving trip I was 15 , 50 years ago, I told my mum I was going fishing she not keen on the idea of caving , when we got to the stream entrance the water was backing up against the back wall it was like a giant plughole, they were all disgusting weather or not to take me down or not,like a knob I said it be fine OMG I passed out after going in I didn't have a wetsuit on we had ladders ,and not the modern gear, they were rubber duck caving club witch I became the social secretary. And had a fantastic caving career , wish we could of filmed back then, good look guys

It ws around 50 years ago for me I was 13 went down with a couple of coal miners from Chesterfield , yea no wet suit either I rember one of the guys blocking the flow on one of the waterfalls as I went down the wire ladder the sod stood up when I was half way down and let a wave of water come over me I've never gripped anything so tight in my life lol , happy days though 😊

I'm a scuba diver this seems interesting and f...... Scary stuff im from north notts how do I get into this sport? Have dry suit and torches

Depending on where you live best bet is to look at your local caving clubs and get on some trips 👍
