That's kind of shocking, 435' reduction. The take off was painful for an aircraft on a paved strip. That plane was certainly not suitable for high density altitude back Country operations. unless one counts mowed and manicured long strips. I think pumping up the tires and putting in a 180hp would be a good mod for those elevations.
