Just got mine, and a few quid off with loyalty points 🙂 And wow it's just incredible. Back last October i got to fly one as a 2 hour xmas gift from my wife and family. When i arrived at Swansea Airport i was greeted by the instructor and asked if i had any flying experience, I sheepishly said i fly MSFS and DCS expecting him to look down his nose at me, But no he said he didn't need to concentrate on the basics ,Gave me a quick rundown on aerodynamics ,Got me in his PA-38 and basically shadowed the controls letting me fly using the experience i had and crossed his arms and asked what i fly in both sims. What an experience . So knowing JustFlight's superb models , I have been waiting so long for this and to see it in my Hanger what a joy..........Top Marks JustFlight

I remember when flight sims got going - my dad was a PPL - and I started using them, many in the GA community were very sniffy about such, anyone would think that they were from Top Gun! I simple told them that in the future they would be so good they would be used for training. My last two instructors? Both flight sim users. We'd often refer to MSFS or DCS😉😀 Although 'buddy that was a FS landing, remember try not to land and keep that nose wheel off, but it was okay', implied I had done better in the past. In my defense the wx had closed in, I'd spent 20 mins in that, helped guide a Cherokee home, and I REALLY wanted to be on the ground 😀😀 So did the Cherokee, he was by now hot on my heals to land (I should have landed long). I'm hoping that MSFS 2024 has improved flight dynamics as well as looking pretty 🤞🙏😉

A beautiful GA addon. Thank you Just Flight for your care and attention to detail. Sometimes its can be so booooooring ! at 30000ft in an airliner after you have taken care of your systems and checks and eagerly wait to "butter the landing" after a long haul flight. Sometimes it really is pleasant to kick back and fly in a slightly less complicated GA aircraft and take in the views and weather in your favourite part of the world, and indeed in some of the handcrafted areas Asobo offers in this simulator. A less complicated GA aircraft maybe, but of course you have to attend to the normal checks and balances to make your flight and navigation as smooth and carefree as possible. The visual detailing in this addon are impressive and it creates a wonderful sense of immersion and enjoyment. There are many good GA aircrfaft from so many other developers as well. But this offering from Just Flight sits in my top ten.

I loved learning to fly in the Tomahawk (1990ish), partially because it was different than what most others were learning in - The C152. My flying club had a few 152s, and a 150, but only one Tomahawk, and I always seemed to be able to rent the Tomahawk while the 152’s were booked. And I always landed better in the Tomahawk. I do remember having to stay on the rudders in a stall, but I never had it spin. I am looking forward to the stalls in this one!

Fantastic work, looks amazing! Just a couple of typos I've spotted in the cockpit. At 0:35 "Catergory" and at 0:46 "Requirment". Other than that looks good!

Thank you for reporting this. The "Catergory" typo looks like it has slipped through the net and we'll make sure that gets corrected in an update. "Requirment" is actually how it was spelled in our reference aircraft, so technically, correctly incorrect! We've logged both of them on our internal bugs tracker though for our artwork team to look into.

Never was a fan of the Tomahawk, This earned it dubious unofficial nicknames like “Traumahawk” and “Terrorhawk.”...But I remember my early days with the PA-28-140 Cherokee 140...But I will buying this just to look at the modeling you guys have done, especially around the cowl will make it all worth it. I still remember the sound of turning the Dzus fasteners to open the cowl...Oh the good old days...

@@justflight Finally got it from the MSFS marketplace!! Whew!! And dare I add, I’m having this little problem of the rudder pedals not moving at all before engine start. I’m told they stay fixed until one begins to taxi. Is that the case, or is there a control lock that must be disengaged first?!

The price-performance ratio is absurd, for example compared to the Avro Vulcan from the same manufacturer. Exclude the use and see if it will be available in MSFS 2024, which is about to be released.

Not really sure what you're trying to say here. What does "Exclude the use" mean? FS2024 isn't about to be released, it'll be towards the end of the year. The Vulcan we released at a special one-off low price for a number of reasons. If you're really all for comparing prices and working out if the price is too much then better to look at other GA offerings, that we have released and also what is available out there already. This is fairly priced and represents excellent value for money. The plane is beautifully modelled, developed to the very highest standard and attention to detail is exemplary. Of course we might say that but that's our opinion and luckily it looks like many others agree with that, given the feedback seen in the previews and much of the early comments from users who have purchased and who are already flying it. Your choice if you believe it's too expensive for you, it's all very subjective of course. Thanks.

Its a price to quality ratio you should be worried about. Performance of the aircraft is meaningless when you're playing a sim and the purpose is to realistically emulate an aircraft as close to the real version as possible. Anything by Just Flight is quality and well worth the money imo, the 146, F28, Vulcan and Piper series arse some of the best aircraft in the sim, plus will be compatible with FS2024, like the majority of addons.

@@onegoodknock What do you mean? The Xbox version should be priced exactly the same as the PC version. We supply the dollar price to Microsoft and that's the same for both versions so the price should be exactly the same for both versions?

Please Please Please Please. Please for the love of christ make the rudder control not feel like absolute garbage. Your GA planes are completely uncontrollable in any xw. YOU CAN FIX IT! Talk with black square. talk with cows, talk with A2A. It can be done! Fly the cows da42 and tell me right now that this plane handles better. Amazing systems, amazing sound, amazing modeling, but I cannot stand how it flies and I will yet again be uninstalling for now. I am so sorry for my harsh take.

We appriciate the passionate feedback, but this is like comparing apples and oranges. The Tomahawk is a very light, single piston engined aircraft with a T-Tail, and you are comparing it against multi engine aircraft, ranging from approximately 3 to 8 times heavier than the Tomahawk, with different aircraft shapes/ configurations and likely, much larger crosswind component limits.
