The BDR routes are by ADV motorcyclists for ADV motorcyclists. Please don't promote these routes for overlanders.

The BDR routes are on Public Highways and therefore are open to any properly licensed vehicle and driver, They are not not highways for the exclusive use of the adventure bike community, I greatly appreciate the BDR for developing these scenic and wonderful routes.

For the record No data was “stolen” I have ordered and paid for all the paper maps that I own, off the website. So I’ve been a supporter of their cause. and the data on their website is open to all. You can disagree on a Jeep driving on public roads. But where is my “entitlement”? The overland community is open to Jeep’s, Toyota’s, and motorcycles. Look at overland expo, and overland Journal is inclusive of all forms of transportation, 2 & 4 wheels.
