I’m going to listen to these all over again even though I have my license. Staying fresh is still important.

I listen and watched all 68 videos, I'm getting ready for my check ride in the next 6o days. I think this was very helpful, I also joined as a supporter. I hope more people do the same 1 dollar per month is a small price to pay for learning. Not only do we learn but this may keep us safe from each others.

Very well done! Especially the references to FARs, etc. I've subscribed and look forward to more. The ADS is quite long and daunting. This gives me a structure to study. Otherwise, I'm lost in the FARs.
@theacslibrary44043 жыл бұрын
Thank you Glenn Smith! I appreciate the subscription and I will have another one out tomorrow! Have you checked out the “Study by Certificate” section at the beginning of the ASA FAR/AIM? I’ve always found that really helpful in structuring what to study as far as the FAR’s go!

This the easiest way for me to memorize VFR minimums. Although is it is also extremely similar to the "G" method that I've seen. Definitely easier than the triangle.
@theacslibrary4404 Жыл бұрын
I haven’t ever seen the G method! I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks this is easier to remember than the triangle haha

great video, just a small nit: you misspoke on on E/G >10k’, it’s 1 statue mile horizontal, not 1000 :)

Thank you Yan! I went ahead and put a note in the description. Thank you for pointing that out! You’ve probably just saved someone from a huge, and hugely unnecessary fuel receipt haha😂

Thank you so much! I do plan to continue. I apologize for taking such an enormous break from it. I have been working hard to divide time between work and family and unfortunately have let the video production suffer as a result. I ABSOLUTELY will continue, but I cannot say how soon. Thank you so much for your patience!

Good way to remember basic VFR wx minimum but the way to describe VFR minimum for class G seems make confusion. Below 1200ft AGL regardless MSL altitude, VFR wx minimum is.... It means, if we fly at 1000ft AGL from the airport with elevation is 11000ft MSL during the day (Flying at 12000ft MSL), the VFR wx minimum is 1 SM and clear of clouds.
@theacslibrary4404 Жыл бұрын
Yes! That’s correct. Nice explanation!

Just noticed this list ends with PA.I.E.S1. Was living just letting autopsy take me to the next one. Any chance you can add all the new ones to this list?

There is a tricky case in class G when 1200 AGL is above 10000 MSL...
@theacslibrary44043 жыл бұрын
A good point, Vladimir! In this case, you would continue to operate under “Class G under 1,200’ AGL” rules until above 1,200’ AGL (regardless of altitude MSL). You can find this information in 91.155. I hope this helps!

Brilliant stuff! can you update the "ACS In Order Start To Finish" playlist when you get a chance?
@theacslibrary44044 жыл бұрын
Thank you!! It's updated😊
@1574me4 жыл бұрын
@@theacslibrary4404 Thanks! KZbin screws up the order when I'm trynna binge watch. I just want to add: please, please keep up the good work!! And after you finish private please do instrument, commercial, etc. You may not have 100k subscribers yet, but you are making seriously high-quality, valuable content, just keep going and they will come! If you keep updating videos for new FARs etc. it will definitely become a flight-training staple. I have 7hrs (flight hours I mean) to go until my checkride and this is really the absolute best source I have found to get the no-nonsense comprehensive review that I need.
@theacslibrary44044 жыл бұрын
Farley I really appreciate this a lot!!! I’ll look into the order of the playlist later tonight when I get back home. It’s very possible I messed something up when adding the videos. I have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to KZbin Studio haha. I’m insanely grateful that you’ve been watching the videos and finding them helpful!

Just a nit, but for VFR above 10k you say 1,000 SM away from clouds lol, we all know what you meant tho
