One thing I like to clarify, is that I've always seen Ghostly Adventure Pac-Man as the SON of the Original Pac-Man & Ms. Pac-Man. Due to the fact that in the show, his parents were apparently heroes of the world, and the fact that this show takes place in a future city.

Supposedly the original plan for the final season was that the ghostly adventures pacmans parents was to be revealed to be the original pac man and ms pac man but obviously the show ended on a cliff-hanger which is honestly for the best as that would mean that ghostly adventures is some megaman x style series but at least megaman x felt like a natural evolution of what the lore would be like in 100 years and felt like a really strong revitalization of the brand while ghostly adventures is like that failed mystical ninja goemon new age reboot that bombed so bad konami actually put the new age goemon in a prison cell in the ds goemon game(which sadly never left japan) just to mock it. And like new age goemon namco will probably push this series into non canon status since the show never got to do its big reveal that would implicate the original pacman series ended badly.

@@unleasherquiles8319 If you want to know another fun fact about the GA VA, the Japanese VA for Spiral in the show is Chaka/Anubis in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Spiral in the english VA for the games is Rohan. Inky's English VA, meanwhile, is Caesar Zeppeli. Also, Inky's VA in the games, for some reason, has a lot of Power Rangers credits due to the Super Megaforce game, and as Makoto and Nagito in Danganronpa. Cylindria's, meanwhile, has credits as Chibi-Usa in Sailor Moon (the most recent dubs of both the original and Crystal). As I make this post, I am realizing that the GA VA cast is stacked to shit. A TON of at least good VAs. There's the guy that plays Apollo Justice and Rico Rodriguez in AA and Just Cause, a lot of FATE VAs, a surprising amount of 7DS VAs, and some Jojo VAs for good measure. They've even got, like, 2 VAs from Precure. I don't know how they could make THAT good of a cast for an attempted reboot of PACMAN, of all things.

personally i kinda enjoyed this era of pacman, i thought it was really cool that they tried to expand pacman universe, and i did enjoy the show and games even if they were far from perfect, i highly doubt it will happen but i wouldn't mind seeing this version of pacman return one day. also i really don't get what the big deal is about pac man re design its basically the exact same as the pacman world design but with different looking eyes.

You know what's really odd? The E-girl Pac-person would have been a decent design.... In something NOT Pac-Man. That look just doesn't work for a Pac-person. Like, put that sort of look onto a human (obviously with more clothes like a black skirt with a chain on the side, some kind of shirt, like maybe with the pattern from her helmet in the game, maybe a short vest). Or heck, if she was in a different game with non-human types.... Hell, in some weird universe where she was a Sonic character instead, she might have had a sizable fanbase.

I got the first game for the Wii U as a birthday present, but never touched it until years later because the box art put me off of it. When finally trying it out after all that time, I skipped the intro, went to the first level, did Pac-Man’s weird scare move twice, and ultimately decided to hightail it out ASAP. Quite literally the fastest I’ve ever put down a game in my life, and I unironically loved Paper Mario: Sticker Star and completed that in full around the same time!

I played both of these games and they were solid adventures. Simplistic, sure, but the level design was fun enough and you could do a lot worse in terms of 3D platformers. Shame this sub series didn’t stick around for longer because I do quite like new Pac’s design, especially the shoes. Also. The ost of these games were really good

2:38 the redesign for Pac-Man here actually goes back as far as 2008, when they were planning on making a 4th Pac-Man World game that ended up getting cancelled. Namco really wanted to push Pac-Man back into the mainstream, though the Ghostly Adventures game and show, were in development hell. Don't ask why I know so much about the development of Pac-Man and his Ghostly Adventures.

As someone who’s played the 3ds version of the 1st game, I don’t blame you for not caring. It had some fun moments but what really ruins it are the boss fights, I promise you theirs 1 boss in particular where the pink pac girl will NEVER SHUT UP and keeps saying pac man’s name over and over again and at that point, I beat the game and never played it again 🫥.
