Wow, It's been a long time since I have seen this game. This was the first game I made in Flash. The game got quite a lot of interest as one of the first to replicat tile based games written in Flash 4. From the tile base method you could move into an isometric tile layout with a Z axis and move in front of and behind other sprites. It was exciting at the time. I got quite a few job offers after this and it changed the direction of my career. With regard to the speed, the frame rate was set to the max 120 fps, then the speed slider just imposed a larger load on the processor to slow down the frame rate. I was running a Pentium 2 so never achieved anywhere near the max frame rate. In the video its speed is set to slow but still running really fast. Thanks for sharing this

What a pleasant surprise to see you here, and that is incredible that this game helped your career! Yeah, I definitely didn't run this on an older computer, so the framerate never really slowed down to the degree I remembered playing it at as a kid. Thank you very much for commenting. :)

Thank you, - After looking into your channel I purchased a copy of Pac-Man: Birth of an Icon. Keep up the good work.@@smbmadman1

It at least looks more playable than that other flash Pac-Man which was the basis for those Baby Luigi and Simpsons versions.

If I were using a Windows XP or so to play this, it probably could have been slowed down enough to be played more properly. It definitely wasn't designed for faster processors, that much I can say.
