What an amazing idea! The premise may seem weird, but it was executed perfectly. Plus, the animated Tetris blocks used actual Tetris tactics. It wasn't just trying to crush Pac-Man, it was trying to do it as effectively as possible!

Yes. After all, Tetris is not a character, like Pac-man, it is a game in itself, so it was a character against a whole game. And Tetris had two ways to defeat Pac-man, crushing him, or zeroing out the towers, making him win and Pac-man losing, so much so that when Pac-man turned the blocks into orbs and ate them, it didn't count as a victory for Tetris, but not for Pac-man either. Pac-man had 3 lives and two and was inside Tetris, so Tetris had the advantage, but Pac-man also had an advantage, he only had to defeat Tetris only once and game over. But how would Pac-man do that? he wasn't fighting another Character, he was fighting an entire game, so how would he defeat an entire "server"??? All he could do was dodge, survive and avoid Tetris zeroing the towers. But how would he win? If dodging forever isn't an alternative and Crash Blocks, Crash Tetris was totally out, there's no way he'd crash in a game. So how would he defeat a Servitor? The Answer is quite simply and Obvious: Making Tetris, the game, the server, lose. And how do you get lost in Tetris? Making the Tower of blocks touch the "ceiling" so that there is no way for the pieces to fall, and thus he would defeat the Game. That's why this was one of the best and most creative fights I've ever seen! Simply brilliant the insight they gave, it's easy to imagine Pac-man fighting, he's a character, but how would Tetris, which is a whole game, fight? "Think outside the box" is what comes to mind. I loved this idea!

Definitely one of the most unique vs matches we’ve seen. Less about one trying to defeat another and more of “surviving long enough to have the other combatant suffer a game over.” Well done on the concept.
