Pacemaker Time! Here we go! Vlog

I have had seen some scary moments on our journey. When they hit you, they really hit hard to your heart. After all the tests completed, it was agreed for a pacemaker. Caregiving is rewarding, but there are so many terrifying moments in between this difficult journey when you care for the one you love, like your mom.

My mom is currently having a difficult time losing her 14 yr old companion cat, Kitty. We had to put her down after kidney failure. She showed improvement, and we did everything for her, for my mom. Unfortunately, we had to put her to sleep early March 2023. Kitty would like to ask if anyone is able to help Queen "G" with all the $10k PLUS medical bills. If so, anything will help. You truly are an amazing daughter and caregiver, the three of you have such an amazing relationship… I’ve had my pacemaker for many years now, upper and lower wires (dual lead pacemaker, upper and lower chamber) my heart does pretty much what your moms does, when mine hits below 50 BPM it fires, one if the best things I’ve ever had done was getting my PM, my heart actually stopped one night while I was sleeping, thank The Lord for having my PM. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers, you all got this, I know you do… Much love from my WIRED ❤ to all of yours… ❤❤❤

When my mom is in the hospital I can’t really leave her at night because she’s such a fall risk and doesn’t wait for help. Our hospitals are very understaffed. Luckily, it’s been short stays even for this last stroke. Today was a tough caregiving day. I wish they made some kind of patience back up packs, but we just do the best we can. Glad Queen G is on the mend.

Stay strong Dee, Jay and most of all Queen G. We’re all rooting and praying for you all. Queen G has a beautiful heart that needs a little help and it will be even stronger with the pacemaker. We don’t hear many words from her but the ones we do hear are powerful. Always full of love for all her family, lots of fun and laughter and plenty of wisdom. Pointing out someone’s cute butt is a right of passage we gain in our lives. Take care Dee and when everything has settled into place put your feet up, relax and let yourself absorb the turmoil you’ve been through. And a triple by pass.!!!!! He passed away before 4 years. I remembered he said to me have courage your boys and your grandson needs you. Don't forget I will be with you. You know that.!!!!!! Any suggestions for those who have to work full-time and try to be a caregiver senior that doesn’t live with them and that doesn’t want to go into assisted-living isn’t quite there yet

Do what you can with your schedule. Have a heart to heart talk with your love one about options. You never know, they already might have been planning or re-thinking it for themselves.
