I know this will attract all the wooshing redditards who can't tell the difference between Reddit and KZbin, but whatever. Here I go... The toothbrushes' motors are controlled by PWM signals generated by an Arduino off-camera, which takes a sheet music file and converts it into the corresponding frequencies for the motor to play with specific techniques to control the motor's rotation, acceleration and deceleration, thus creating musical notes and therefore a song can be played. The motor in your toothbrush has no/very limited PWM control so gets a pure and unmodified electrical signal, and the voltage it runs at will determine its frequency. Maybe if you try you can play music while brushing your teeth!

Maybe not my most favorite song, but hearing it played on toothbrushes is something else :D Really, really love this stuff. Great job man, keep it coming! My suggestion: A retro game theme. Something like SMB Overworld or Tetris? Something from the GameBoy or NES. Either of those used exactly 4 channels - Noise, Triangle, Square and another I can't remember at this point. But this should be fairly easy but fun to pull off! Ironically, a toothbrush's sound or a typewriter's stepper have more soundspace than what those four channels on the retro consoles had as they can be more fine-tuned...heh. Anyways, nice video!

This is bringing back traumatic memories of when i played canon with two of my friends (2 violas and a cello)in a performance IN FRONT OF JUDGES and one of my friends (viola harmony) just DIDN’T SHOW UP. So me (melody viola) and my other friend (cello) had to try to contain our panic attacks while playing in front of judges while missing a person. I literally started crying in the middle of playing. The friend FINALLY showed up directly after we played. I no longer can think of anything else while listening to this song.
