I had one of these trees for 23 years. It rotted at the trunk this year and I was only able to save 2 small tops from it. Can they be rooted?

@@pureploxs Unfortunately, even being dried for two weeks, it never put out roots. It was a beautiful fat trunked tree about 4 1/2 ft tall. I was sad to lose it. The infection may have gone too far to save it. ☹️
