Pacific Airshow returns to Huntington Beach, but not without some controversy

Went to the air show today and it was foggy the entire day and didn’t get to see any jets😢. I look forward to this event every year.

It's a way for some people to make a bunch of money every year off the local city.. you had a council member tell you that straight out.. you can have an air show every year.. does it mean the city has to pay for it hand over fist.. it's amazing the lack of understanding people have. You can lead a horse to water you can't make it drink. You can show people knowledge but you can't make them understand it

Here at the airshow now. last year most of it was cancelled due to weather. friday we did see the T birds. saturday the whole thing was cancelled although at the end we could hear some jets but couldnt see anything due to fog. due to fog recurrences it seems they should move this show inland so we can get a show period. not spending any money on this next year. maybe drive by and see what i can see. but no. not doing this again. ill see if there are any inland shows where we do not have to deal with fog. the other issue is they put up large solid gates this year blocking access to part of the beach unless people pay $35. i dont recall them doing this before. the line to get in was a few blocks long.

Be nice if as in past The event were held at Los Alamitos reserve Air Station.Was plenty free parking and static exhibits. Great location to show case our aviator vets, like my Dad who knew the original Blue Angles, & served in Navy there. A real airport...go figure. Beach, no bueno. Fog.

What airshow? It was more like, hear and not see. Honestly why would a coastal city schedule an airshow in October??? Why not August, summer when the weather is more consistent. People spent thousands of dollars, also the poor vendors. I'm going to assume the show will no longer come to HB, this was a disaster

Saturday Sunday show and Saturday didn’t happen, too cloudy the whole day and a waste of money, don’t forget they don’t even have planes staged on the ground so you don’t get to see any the military equipment close up because there’s nothing there, It’s just beach, what a waste of money I’ll never go to that show again.
