It was my first time to rent an RV last November and it cost me $800 for 2 nights (200 mile max).The parking is around $100/night in an RV park. Afterwards, I am amazed at this RV life coz it's not cheap and a lot of work. Great video!Thanks for giving a lot of tips throughout your travel. I'm getting ready for a big road trip but still not sure which vehicle to use.

It's definitely not cheap to rent an RV. Much more affordable to purchase one if you plan on using it regularly. However, when you also think of the cost got a hotel room plus a rental vehicle per night, $200 per night for the one we rented isn't too bad. There are also website where you can rent RVs from people who own them...so like airbnb for RVers. We are making a video about this so stay tuned! Where are you planning to road trip this time?

We were planning this road trip since last year starting today, but with all the atmospheric rivers going on around Ventura, we decided to wait until mid July or next year's Spring Break. I am a Science Teacher and I want to learn more about the area my ancestors traveled in the late 1700's and early 1800's when they were part of the DeAnza Expedition@@hopscotchtheglobe

How did you get into LA? Are there any RV parking options? Or did you rent a car for a day?

We drove there from Canada. There are many RV parking options. Some people also just park on the side of the streets in some places. Since we tow our airstream with a truck, we park at an RV park and then disconnect so we can use our truck to drive around.
