I wonder when little wheels will be added to pogo-sticks, then you'll be able to roll yourselves along the smoother trails like 2-wheeled, 2-legged vehicles. Or little old ladies on zimmers.

I drove through there for the first time in November so it's great to see the trail! Water Mocassins love the water and can be quite aggressive! Some yanks call them 'beanie caps'.

What have you heard about snowpack from above average season ?? The sandal flip-flops thongs: you might lose them in strong water. The sandals with straps will stay attached, yes?

There is a lot of snow yes, we don’t know more about the northern sections than the news tells us. Sandals with straps or Crocs should work great

Wow, first rattlesnake I've this year. None of the others I'm following have run into one. A couple of them even cowboy camped out in the desert beyond Agua Dulce. I always think that's a bad idea. I imagine waking up with a rattler looking straight at you at ground level, or one crawling into your sleeping bag. Very good video quality. Are you using a smartphone or something else?

Right?! This one sneaked up on us while we were filtering water about 6 miles from the terminus. Yes! We both use our smartphones :)

In my mind it’s not a real complete hike if you go stay in a hotel because once you start again it’s the start of a new hike, not the same one.
