Leuk jullie te volgen jongens. Het is prachtig, maar erg zwaar af en toe met de sneeuw volgens mij. Zet'm op Kevin en Jelmer!!!

Awesome videos! It's really cool to see a journey like this one. I hope I can hike a trail like this one day as well. 😁

Enjoyed your video. Congratulations on enjoying the snow. Good luck with your feet and the blisters healing. Also on making both 100 KM and 100 miles. The snow melt will be bad with fast water in rivers. No going home allowed 🙂. Safe safe and hike smart.

Both of you are so fun to watch. So glad I found your channel! By the way, I love my Sealskinz socks ( waterproof cold weather socks), at least for when you are trudging through the snow- which will be for some time. And stay hydrated - it will help prevent hypothermia- stay safe!!!

Thank you, Jan! We appreciate your kind words. That’s good advice, we’ll look into it😄

I've been looking for good video bloggers to follow this year on the PCT. I decided that I like you guys. Keep having fun. With a record snow year this will be a big challenge but if you stay flexible you may be able to pull this off. I'm certainly rooting for you. I noticed the Aggie hat. I graduated from USU and still live in Cache Valley. One thing I would love to see in a coming video is a little background about where you are from and what possessed you to take on the PCT. Good luck guys!

We’re glad you did, Steve😄 yes it certainly is a big challenge and requires flexibility. The first video on the channel is an introduction video and I’m sure more will follow with the next video’s!

I heard that one of the steepest parts of the pacific crest trail is the descent down to the Interstate 10 crossing, Is it true? I heard it drops from 10,400 feet to 1,320 feet in less than 10 miles. And is the lowest spot on the entire trail. Even lower then the Columbia River crossing

Great video. Your smiles, laughs and fun really add to the nice vibes. If you have a chance, I'd love to hear how you're planning for food and water supplies on the hike, as in where you find the information for how much to buy and carry and where the re-supply points are. Congrats on the first 100k and 100mi thresholds and on pushing through the wet cold challenging times, it will be so worth it.

Enjoying the virtual trek with you. Fun to see two brothers hiking the trail. Remember when you get to Oregon to stop in at "Dutch Bros" in Ashland and get yourself a coffee. 🙂

Excellent videos, guys! Did you meet any other hikers during this stretch? Where was the push-up clip taken? This is not typical weather for the first 150 miles of the PCT!! Is your gear working for you?
@thedutchhikingbrothers Жыл бұрын
We did meet a few during these 2 weeks but not many. Push-up was in San Bernadino during a zero. Gear is good except for a single walled tent in humid conditions.

Do you have any leukotape for your blisters?
@michaelb1761 Жыл бұрын
Leukotape is the best. Glad I found out about it.

Enjoying the desert section of the PCT? Normally it's a bit warmer and much drier.

As we were told. We hope that will happen soon🙏🏽

Your videos are great but why are they so far behind. I means we've had two weeks of beautiful warm weather and were still seeing snow coming down in your videos, it's depressing.😀
