Im amazed how barren it gets with the altitude; little vegetation an rock. I hope none of the fires delay your travels. I know PCT has some closures this week

We are hoping we can continue to hike north. The Royal fire is are first concern. Further north the trail is closed. We will most likely have to find a way around this section unfortunately.
