Thanks for the coverage. The wind in Snoqualmie and North Bend was intense and would have raised a signal 10 in Hong Kong. The wind through the trees was so powerful I felt like a sailor going around the horn. I worked outside and it nearly blew me over a number of times. Some of the gusts forced me to my knees. It was 15 hours of constant roar. I been through many storms here and a few in eastern washington, this was up there for sure but we always get these in November one can say. Amazing picture of the Beast offshore dominating the northern Pacific ocean. We should name it. how about Baby Godzilla lol

Hey, I saw your car in Enumclaw on Tuesday!!! You were aimed into the wind and a beautiful mountain backdrop with a lowering gray sky above. Was on my way toward Mt. Rainier and a few minutes after I passed you I had to stop and lift a fallen tree out of the road !!! I love your show!!!

I drove from Issaquah back to Seattle. and the fact that Issaquah, Sammamish, Factoria, & Mercer Island were ALL DARK was super spooky. The tree damage along Front St. in Issaquah was extensive and crazy! I had a friend told me that is snowed in Spokane a day or two before out windstorm and then realized, were gonna get a rare windstorm. Worse that i can remember since 2006. At least were not getting more deaths like we had in 2006.

I'm glad the second storm gave us a miss. I really didn't need another day of power outages! SnoPUD did a fantastic job on Camano this year for both the storms, there's still people out north and south of me but they've gotten much of the island back. Really feel for the people who are in a second day of outage, it's cold!

Michael, The Federal Way, Auburn area had it's power go out about 8pm Tuesday evening. It came back on about 9am Wednesday morning. Yep, 13 hours approx. It was little more than a nuisance. All I can say is that in this day and age it pays well to be prepared for virtually anything that can or will come our way. A dual fuel generator {Propane/Gas} is much more desirable and practical than a single fuel Gas generator. Think shortages. My best wishes to all who were or are still affected by the latest Big Blow/ Bomb Cyclone.

Michael, I have tried to understand the charts you show, but that is frustrated by the charts not having units on the "key". I am happy to gloss over or ignore the ECMWF/ NAM details, but they do seem to communicate systems of wind/rain/snow/wave height to some extent. But only with a "waving hand" type of detail. It is probably way beyond your ability to edit these works to make them comprehensible as they are probably originate far away by people who have decades of experience encrypting them and just "know" what they mean by decades of compressed/inferred/whatever!
