This movie is a masterpiece and properly directed and with this kind of CGI effects in 2013, the realistic physics, the effects, the designs on how a the mech works with its tiny details (moving parts of the jaeger). One of my fav Mech movies ever!

@@Kaiju-bm4ts I enjoyed The Black, but it seemed better off as its own separate title rather than being set in the future of the original pacific rim film. There's just something about Newt slowly becoming part of the alien hive mind, how they killed off known characters quickly, and the Kaiju+Jaeger creatures in Uprising that just didn't feel as grounded as the original tried to be. You may enjoy the other titles like I do as well, but the directors all had different ideas on how the weight of these giant things felt on screen. Which is why I can't get over it. It is progressively getting lighter by becoming more action packed, in my opinion. I wasn't putting any of the titles down. I just really noticed how different they all are from one another.
