Michael - Dude! You nailed it. I'm just west of Granite Falls, east of Marysville, and it is 8:30PM Friday and the winds just switched to out of the North, and the precipitation has become mixed with occational large flakes. So it is definately coming and you said it would start around 9PM. We are at slightly over 500 ft elevation here. This is why I tell everyone to listen to your channel when they are looking for snow reports. I can't believe it has only been three years. I would have said I've been watching your channel longer than that. Great Job. Keep it up

It's been snowing here since 6:AM. Hello from Summerville Oregon in the Blue Mountain region. After a long dry spell, and an usually warm afternoon yesterday, the sun is gone and the snow is blowing. The upside is those low temperatures kept our snow pack intact. Thanks Michael.

I watch several different KZbin channels addressing the weather. But yours is by far the best I’ve ever seen! You do such super deep dive analyses. Likely the only reason you don’t have more subscribers is because you focus mainly on the Northwest weather and not the entire country. Regardless, I look forward to your daily broadcast. Let it snow!!!!

Heyyy Michael. Central Vancouver Island here.. I got a surprise at 2:30 am 😮 when I got up to take the puppy/dog out for a pee and found a half inch of snow on my outdoor portable gazebo! I had to get my toque and gloves on and remove the roof so it wouldn't collapse the frame, like the last four 😂. Because I live at sea level, I guess it was "lake snow", cuz it was wet and soppy, as it is most times at 17 meters above sea level. ! Looking forward to some actual snow. Thanks for all your great work. ✌️🇨🇦🏝

Quite a beautiful morning Michael here in Ephrata, we've had roughly. .02 hundredths of an inch of freezing rain and no snow so just like the rest of the winter it under performed and didn't disappoint because you can't really even trust the radar cause several times this morning it was showing snow south to Moses Lake but freezing rain was all we could muster so maybe next week we will see some snow in Grant County possibly, thank you for your complete weather analysis Michael ❤

Hi Mike, Did I see 63 Degrees down in Medford this morning? In Newport it's 54. Nature should not be playing games with us down here. As for the models, since this past week, everyday the forecasts past 5 days have been flip flopping, so, as for next week after Tuesday, I'll wait a few days before deciding which forecast I'll believe. Speaking of which, the 6-10 , 8-14 and February's long range forecasts are out today. given the above mentioned, I'm not quite sure why the NWS is so firm on believing we'll be getting super cold and super wet, especially for the monthly outlook. Maybe for Eastern Washington but a big question mark for Western Oregon. As you well know , the longer that arctic low is stuck out over the Pacific , the more the air mass will moderate, so any snow forecast for the Oregon coast, I'm ignoring for later next week. As always, great job with your analysis.
