Pack Goats Camping with Scouts for High Mountain Catch & Cook Firebox Freestyle Stove Grilling Trout

It's always a joy to see kids winning in the field. Puttin' in the hard work to earn their badges, and then rewarded with eating some fresh trout that they earned themselves. They sure did get after those roasted trout. Nice to see the goats getting in their miles, and those good dogs never disappoint either. My new large camp cook kit got put to good use this weekend and a couple of weeks ago too. I always look forward to getting out myself. Nice work there, Steve.

What a terrific trip! Those kids will remember the really cool guy with the goats and dogs for the rest of their lives! lol Goat lips are the softest and it looks like he was enjoying the attention and kisses, too funny. Great memories made for the kids. I knew for some that was the first trout they had ever eaten. The flag ceremony was cool. Bill was ready to get the pack off. I like how they went somewhere that the person that couldn't hike the entire distance could make it on their 4-wheeler.

So cool! I was a Scoutmaster for about ten years. My very favorite church assignment. Other leaders were my best friends. We'd stay up and talk around the fire until real late because it was hard to sleep on on closed cell foam pads. When I was a boy scout, I had no problem sleeping on hard ground. I love this video!

It may sound weird but all I did is just taking it out of the box, looking at it and try all type of setting up then put it away. Loved it! Goat round, round, spinning round round… So much product testing potential… There is a fishing product sponsor potential! Long stick and hobo reel, for cheap entertainment… I have taken my own son fishing. At 6yrs old. And it was, put on worm, hand rod over, dip hoook/worm in water, pull up blue gill after 45s, “here dad, take it off…” , , throw back fish, repeat for 2hrs…. It was a great time… Here you can eat the fish… and they are old enough to cook and learn and do FIRE! I see a row of firebox 5 gen2, 6or more, all set up waiting for fire and a scout, tending it or various stages. Some scouts helping others about wood gather and fire starting, some scouts helping with cooking and fish cleaning, and Steve proudly just supervising eating fish…
