Hii i really do need help😂. So I *DESPERATELY* need to leave the studio I’m at. I came from the Gwinnett Ballet Theatre and I will not say where I am now. I will say that the studio I’m at has the sweetest girls, but I can’t improve anymore. The owner is not good, our director doesn’t even like her. All she does is set up shows for money. She accepts girls onto the team for money, not for talent. We are screwed for comp this year. My teachers try to best they can but the way the owner runs things is not beneficial and good for us at all. I need to go to a studio that actually cares about my dance education. I’m nervous, though, because I feel behind. I honestly don’t think any other studio will accept me onto their company. The studio I’m at is really messed up; the judges at our company auditions places me in level two but the owner (who has the final say) moved me down to level one so that I could “give the girls on there a chance at winning”. There are high schoolers on level one. I am the youngest there, at 11 years old while they are 16. It hurts because everyone says I’m really good but my dance education cannot get better with this toxic owner. That being said, I can’t bring myself to leave. I love all the girls here and can’t imagine moving on from them. They are so kind and supportive, we all fight through the drama (which I cannot say on here) together. Again, I might not make the company team with a different studio, or I might not like the way things are run over there. I can’t decide whether to stay or go. I’m sorry for making you read all this, but what should I do😭😭
