Just in case the straps get annoying, grab a sheepskin steering wheel cover ( cut it to fit) and wrap it around the shoulder straps.. As someone will attest, sounds like a stupid idea, but works an absolute treat!

@@michaelwaldeck7081 thanks mate. I love my old stainless steel bottle. The plastic screw on lid has long since perished but the cork I trimmed up to fit the opening works great. 👍

@@michaelwaldeck7081 you also need to be careful with double walled water bottles as they can’t be put on a fire to purify water as they’re an explosion risk. My old stainless steel bottle is single walled and one piece of steel which is important. They are increasingly hard to find without joins in them. 👍
