Mario kart 8 is a really great game and I prefer it over Wii but the Wii will always have a very nostalgic feel to it. Also, the small details like sound effects make this game so much fun. What a great time ! I miss many of the tracks from the Wii and I wish they would give them an updated version

Certain Mario karts click with different people who love their favored versions. Certain people love Wii more. Certain people love Double Dash more, same with 8 or Ds and so on. Even when MK 9 or 10 comes out and it has say 100 of the most amazing tracks, 100 different characters and 40 different modes. The best graphics and music. Your still subjectively prefer The Wii because of nostalgia.

Who else remembers playing with somebody else and when they lost we screamed and called the other person a cheater? Yep, I remember that too. I loved Mario kart and I can’t find much videos. I always loved this game, I played it maybe when I was around 6 or 7, and I immediately fell in love with it. I remember doing the coin collecting thingy and me and my brother would always horseplay on the map. It was very fun, and brings back memories. *nothing can take away that memory*
