Beloved is usually saved for reciprocated relationships. Peach does not agree here. "King" Bowser probably has it in his head that royalty should marry royalty and given we only have seen the 2 royal families may think Peach doesnt have other options (Jr. may be a prince, but much too young for her). Peach on the other hand is still enjoying single life too much to settle down, and doesnt hold to those old ways anyway. What I would like to see is a far future game where we play as the next generation - in the same style as Mario RPG. King Mario and Queen Peach are old and grey and not playable - Bowser has a new Queen and his own Kingdom we get to explore. Bowser Jr is playable and has an 'protective older brother' feel as the oldest of the group. And have the threat come from outside the 2 kingdoms, like Smithy was in RPG.

No matter how intimidating he looks, it's still bowser. And if it's bowser I can't be intimidated. It's basically impossible to be intimidated by a villain you've beaten like 50 times, I was already pretty bored of him by the time mario 64 came out (yes, that long ago) so at this point he is a total joke, to the point I can't even be assed playing these games anymore. I don't want to play an entire game for the ending to be a whimper. This game is trying so hard to be different and interesting, but with the bosses being just bowser jr and bowser... it completely falls flat in that respect. This was a great opportunity for a new interesting villain, but no, it's like some insane law that bowser must be the antagonist in a mario game even if it actually lessens the actual experience, which it does for people who have played this series for a long time.

The fact that the boss is on a rhythm is neat. However, you can see it in the gameplay, playing it must still feel nice the first time, but there’s just nothing going on. It’s a shame, because I’m pretty sure that this is the first ‘hands and head’ boss in a 2D mario, and they could have made it more intense, fitting for the final boss. Instead, like every boss in this game, it’s underwhelming gameplay wise, while quite nice visually and sound wise. This is like, my only complaint with this game: bosses are not as involved as I’d like too. Bowser gets points for being unique though, unlike his son and his boats.

Actually when asked who Junior's mother was the creator implied it was himself, "I think this is most likely just because they designed him as a character." As for the in game story, the only confirmed information we seem to have is when Bowser attempts to admit that Peach isn't Junior's mom during a cutscene, only for Junior to reveal that he already knew/found out.

Simple: Boswer has more resources He has a bigger and more powerful army He has enough technology power to blow up an entire kingdom Literally all his children except Jr have magic scepter and his right hand man is a magikoopa And dude gets his hand on magical objects and picks a time when Peach wouldn’t expect him to Boswer himself is a fire breathing turtle who becomes a living skeleton when drowned in lava. If Peach and him fought on one on one, she’d only win because he’d take it easy on her Peach runs a peaceful kingdom of mushroom goobers who she cares a lot about Kidnapping her/forcing her to come with him is pretty easy for Boswer, no matter how strong Peach is

Half the time she’s kidnapped, it’s because Boswer strikes her when she least expects it and if the movie is any indication, all it takes is harming any of the toads to make her comply. Also, how can she fight back? As I stated before, Boswer has the power to destroy her kingdom, heck, he managed to take her whole castle into space. There’s really not much she can do differently when Boswer comes to kidnap her, especially when he always brings his massive army with him

Except he wouldn't because the entire point is that he doesn't respect her choices or desires. Even if she married him, he'd still try to take over the world, Mario would still try to stop him, and Bowser would still try to kill him, even though Peach would hate that.

@@teenageapple3788 Count Bleck, at the beginning of the game, forced Peach and Bowser to marry each other. While Bowser was all down for it, Peach wasn't. Upon them being officially married, this brought forth the Void Heart to form, thus causing the end of the world and thus the game to start. Dramatic start for a Mario game honestly.
