My switch will not cooperate with me. Even after cleaning it with rubbing alcohol, it won't let Yoshi go forward when I press right on the joystick. Does this mean I need a new switch?

Hey try getting a new joycons but before you do that can you move on another games? If so if your yoshi game is physical there is something wrong with the cartridge if it’s digital its probably a glitch or there is something wrong with your switch

@@katrena_san3748 Oh, I tried it with SM3DW+BF, M+R:KB, and even SMO. I tried it with all games that don't necessarily need detached joy-cons, and every single time, the joystick would either get stuck, or the character I was playing as would automatically move on their own without me touching the joystick.
