Regarding the US school system (not that you likely care, but just in case lol), high school is 4 years here and roughly age 14-18. If the Pretty Little Liars series started when the friend group was 15, they were likely in the second year of high school. Middle school/junior high is variable depending the area, but traditionally you're in junior high for the two years before high school, so 12-13, and middle school the two years before that, so 10-11. Really it's all a bit complicated and I don't know why there are so many divisions, but there it is. I feel like I need to look up the UK system now to see whether it's just the US or if all school systems are this complex.

If I remember correctly, Wanted was the last book in the PLL series. I think she started writing more books because of the show coming out. I feel like this might be what happened with You as well. You’re making me wanna read PLL. I tried to do it some time ago & couldn’t get into it. However, I was watching the show at the time (I think). Maybe with some distance from the show, I’ll feel differently. I also want to read The Perfectionist & her one about the twins.
