I'm going on a 5 day stay for people with fibromyalgia. While there they will have "classes" where they teach more about the illness, what best way to live with it, dietary tips, and tips for mental health. It's called an info and mastering stay. (My translation here may not be the best, but if you have any questions, watch my vlog from the stay coming up after this, or ask any questions in the comments).
In my vlogs I show you my life with fibromyalgia! Fibromyalgia is a chronic illness, and after getting sick, my life has changed a lot. I try to live as "normal" as I'm able to, but because my health is so bad I can't do a lot of the things many people would think of as normal for an almost 20-year old; like going to school, working a job, hanging out with friends and so on. And because I don't look ill on the outside, I want to show what goes on in my life (why I can't leave the house everyday, how I try to take care of my body, and what fibromyalgia looks and feels like for me), and hopefully help end the stigma associated with illnesses where people can't always physically see your illness, and how much it affects you!
