Love this! Also going to Italy for 3 weeks in May. Will be watercolour painting this time with a mini setup to keep things light. A 3x5 watercolour sketchbook, water brush and mini portable painter. Would love to take the medium heileman but it’s way too heavy.

Thanks Marla. Very helpful. My one question: when you did a value study of a hilly street with the sea in the background, you used, what looks to be, a white marker along with your grey markers. Could you give more information on that white marker please. Thanks.

Marla if you are carrying on your roller bag I don't think you can bring your tube of gouache.
