Packing for My First Walt Disney World Trip in Over a Decade!

The day has finally come and I'm on my way to Walt Disney World! I grew up coming to Disney World, but I haven't been since December 2011! It feels like I'm going to have entirely new Parks to explore, for which I'm extremely excited! Here I'm sharing everything I'm packing for the trip in terms of Park bags, Loungefly, Minnie ears, and outfits!

I will say, I do have a lot of fun planning and getting ready for the trips...we like to Disneybound so it's fun to add in that extra element. It is a shame that most places that have something for breakfast are not gluten-free...it would be nice to have more options. The humidity is the killer, isn't it?

Don't forget your first visit button people usually wear lanyards with their pins on them just make sure they have locking pin backs on them hope you have a magical time

I hope you have a wonderful time. Disney world was my home parks and I miss it so much, also, if you don't have skin allergies, bounce now makes dryer sheets that help to pull animal hair out from clothes. they are amazing and now my black shirts are actually black again lol.

We have had a little trouble with the Magic Bands coming undone on kid wrists. The little clear hairbands made a good Magic Band strap keepers.

Dang! The castle shirt is AMAZING! You did a wonderful job! Do you have any tips for the iron-on vinyl? I have issues with it popping up in places. Also, beautiful fingernail polish!

How do you pack your Loungefly bags and ears so that they do not get smashed or damaged while traveling?

I usually pack things inside the Loungeflys and then put those inside a larger suitcase or duffel bag. So like for example I’ll pack all my socks and undergarments in one loungefly, and roll some t-shirts into another, that way the bags don’t lose their shape and it keeps my clothes more organized. For my ears, I put them in between layers of clothes so the clothes act as padding.

But seriously… My family has our first trip in over a decade coming up in July and all the new pre-plan ahead, plan every second thing has me walking a fine line between feeling like I’m “preparing” and feeling like I’ll never be prepared.
