Here’s a tip once u get the hospital bags packed go ahead and put them in your car.. that way u already have them and won’t have to worry about anything Bc you’ll already have them. And if it’s possible take Layla’s bag ahead of time to the sitters house.

Just had my 4th baby 5 days ago. I did the same thing. Packed my bag, loaded it in the van and gave the other kids bags to the sitter. Done.

So many wonderful things happening! Wedding showers, weddings, babies! The car seats that click directly into the stroller are a must. Oh my goodness! It saved our arms. Car seats are heavy even without any weight in them so I know what you mean Evan. Praying for a safe remainder if your pregnancy, induction, labor, delivery and recovery for both mom and baby. Woohoo! Bag packing, 2 cm dilation, head down in the birth canal- it’s getting close.

I'm sure you already ordered it.. but I have the se baby jogger stroller you have, and you can actually order an adapter to fit most carseats into it.. we used our Britax B Safe 35 and they had the adapter to click it into the city mini baby jogger.

Hello Carlin! I'd ike to leave some tips here for postpartum at home. You might already know them but thought about writing it here in case you don't 😉 It's very helpful to have the thick overnight pads in the freezer to help with the discomfort of that "area". You can buy some witch hazel spray bottle, open up all the pads and spray each one with witch hazel, close them back up and store them in your freezer for when you are ready to use them. Also leave a cabbage head stored in the fridge. The leaves are very soothing when placed cold on your breasts especially in the first few days. And my last tip is to bake some lactation cookies ( there are lots of recipes on Pinterest) and bake a few batches to have ready to go. The ones that can be frozen are very helpful so you always have some on hand 😉. Very excited to meet little man 🤗

I have a blood disorder too Carlin! I have APS and Sneddon Syndrome. I’m a Stroke Survivor, I had my Stroke in 2014 at age 21. I had 6 strokes in all, and I had a stent in my neck and on thinner for blood clots… so I understand Carlin!

I always encourage people to bring a sound machine or download a sound app. You never know where your room is located (rooms near the nurse’s station are louder) and you want to get as much sleep as you can! 😊

I loved my baby seat for both of my babies. It would clip into the stroller. It also clipped onto shopping carts. When my daughter was ready to turn around and be front facing I bought a different seat. My son was bigger and heavier sooner than my daughter so I bought another seat that covered all ages when he was still rear facing. It was more expensive in the long run but using the carrier for them to sleep in when I was out and about was worth it.
