I loved this video! I don't travel much either (and haven't flown since 2007) but these tips are still useful. I haven't noticed those collapsible food containers before, but I really love the idea of them & plan to look for some just for everyday use!

Wooo Dr. Who! Yes, that will make any trip feel speedy. Those plastic containers are brilliant, then you can carry some of your favorite shampoos without purchasing a travel size of something you don't like as much! Great video.

I loved this video and it came at the perfect time for me. I will be flying home next week and I am also doing the carryon thing. Last time I went home though, I found that my mascara and clear brow gel did not need to be in the quart bag.

Depending on the airline - you don't have to pack mascara, cream pots (the mally things you mentioned), etc. Did enjoy the ideas though! :) Love the camera bag!

Some of the other people I was traveling with were not as particular as I was, and they didn't have any trouble getting through. So I think you are right. I did have to get a pat down on my flight back because my sweater had "bling" on it as the security guard put it. haha! I tried to think of everything but clearly that didn't work out perfectly. ; )

makeupTIA I always put everything into the bag too - only because I freak out like 'what if' and then see that some places really don't mind, while other airports are crazy strict. Boo on getting patted down! I say if it's just bling and visible everything should be okay - I pretty much wear my workout clothes through the airport :)

Your snacks look delicious! I just wanted to point out that there are people who have severe allergies to peanuts and tree nuts such as almonds, so it might not be the best thing to bring onto a plane where space is confined and it is difficult to get medical help. Just my two cents as I have a friend who has anaphylaxis when exposed to peanuts.
