@@aidenhudson5132 I have a video covering METT-TC from a civilian prospective also, you might find that helpful. It’s hard bc the mission & environment & friendly / enemy situation definitely dictates what you bring. but there is a general “standard” set of items most guys carry most of the time.

What’s funny is you’ve got a a big army assault pack, and currently my “go to” back is the USMC FILBE assault pack with the two sustainment pouches on the side

@ they’re not bad, I don’t have much experience with them, but I used on in airborne and Ranger school, they hold up better than the USMC filbe packs I will say.

I did the same exact thing, 2 UCP sust. pouches and died them brown, and kinda made it my 3-day survival bag. I do have the larger ILBE if necessary

i keep a 'i fucked up' kit in a pocket on my top flap - its a vacuum sealed bag of socks, underwear, microfiber towel, silk top, waffle beanie and tshirt. it packs down really slim, stays water proof and only gets touched if i forgot to bring WW gear/got caught in a fluke weather or took an accidental dip that wasnt planned on.

Do you have any experience with the molle 4k ruck? Its after my time but looks like a happy medium, the medium ruck is to small for winter and it doesn't have any straps to sinch things down. Great video brother
