For those that complain about the lack of concealed strap storage on the EXP 35, I bought a 4 pack of 32" adjustable Strap Buckle Packing Straps. You can fasten two of them through the suitcase holding slots below the straps and then snap and neatly cinch everything out of the way for carry on or checking. Works great in combination with the already attached cinch straps to keep everything compact for an underseat carry on.

Anytime you’re using the shoe compartment, stack the shoes atop one another and slide them in sideways. Takes up far less space and allows easy use of the remaining space with packing cubes.

To lock the main compartment you don’t put the lock through the zipper pulls. When you put the zippers in the “Roobar” capture bar and close it, it reveals another hole to slip the lock through. Just a slight correction. Anyways, thanks for the content. Enjoyed seeing how this bag works. Cheers.

Great and helpful review. Can this bag fit under the seat of an airplane (if it's not at full capacity-speaking about dimensions of length and width primarily). Also, what is the weight of this bag when it's empty?

I know that I complain too much about backpacks not having a waist strap or padded hipbelt. But the EXP series has bags of 25, 35, 45 & 55 liters, and only that largest capacity has a (zip-away) padded adjustable hipbelt. And it’s too large for a carry on (~51 linear inches).

I use the 45L and it has a hip belt (tuck away) but agree, I wish this 35L had one too!

Not being able to conceal the backpack straps on a bag this size that might have to get checked at certain times and ride conveyer belt systems is a no go for me. A matador globerider style bag that has pacsafe style security would be awesome to see in the market
