5:59 their comment that " it was a great start for 1999 tamil indian fil" shows the stereotype that westerners spread . As if Indians were not broad minded. Many ppl were broad minded even in olden times. The superstitions, caste system, male chauvinism etc were encouraged by invaders. They were the rulers who never brought to end social evils, which were rare. So everything flared up and spread. Their objective was not governance but plundering. That's how social evils grew in Indian soil. Nonetheless, there were many great Indian leaders who worked on these issues, the Unity of the nation, awareness of the exploitative nature of invaders etc whowere jailed by them.

And the crippled hand guy from bahubali would be the brother of the “villain lady” Ramya Krishnan in the movie. Ramya Krishnan was Rajamatha Sivagami in bahubali.
