are we sure? I always notice that hundreds of millions of people live and work on or near the ocean all around the world, like Africa, South and Central America, Asia, Arabia. In spite of that, nearly all of the reported attacks and deaths always seem to happen in places that either speak English or have Western tourists. While I doubt it's all that high, I wonder how many attacks, deaths and encounters happen in the rest of the world, where there's no internet or news agencies.

I’ve learned more from your footage than anything I’ve seen on shark week in recent years. It’s amazing and terrifying how close to the shore they are, but you’re right, that shark could’ve had that paddle boarder if it wanted. Didn’t even look in the guy’s direction. Almost all of the other footage is taken in chum filled water, so that the sharks are almost always aggressive. Here, they’re just swimming along.
