when in was in US Navy was on aircraft carrier we did Med cruises and last time i was there coming back across the "pond" there was 100's of sea turtles in the straight of Gibraltar it was beautiful

Yes, indeed, the video from the drone is amazing but so is the entire video - photography and content. Mangrove Cay looks much different from what I remembered it looking like the first time I was there about 47 years ago. At the time, the mangrove came up to the water's edge; there was no beach or shelf like we saw in your video. And the mangrove seemed taller. My guess is that the island is in recovery after some past hurricane. Back then, there was a rusted steel triangulation tower on the island. Again it's a guess, but I suspect it stood on the concrete pad you found. Thanks for another awesome video, and shaking loose some long unused neurons holding happy memories.

Def not water proof haha and it is def a risk flying over water esp in the Bahamas where the gps signal isn't that strong. I think the shots are worth the risk though...
