Mallows Bay is the resting place of almost 200 ships, many of them WW-I cargo vessels that were built in a hurry, and then just as quickly became surplus. As a result, this area is an easy paddle among a treasure trove of nautical archaeology.

I’ve always thought the Ghost fleet of mallows bay was always interesting. Great video!

I think we all pictured more ships above the waterline - most are just barely protruding at low tide. But the density - all these ships in such a small area - is impressive.
